About Vercel:

Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About the role:

We’re hiring a Recruiting Coordination Manager to drive quality and speed across our most important hiring loops. This is a player-coach role—you’ll lead high-priority and exec-level coordination while managing a small team of RCs. You’ll own the buildout of our AI-first coordination engine, automating the busywork so your team can focus on signal and experience. This role is key to keeping Vercel’s hiring fast, fair, and high impact. Reports to the Head of Recruiting Ops. Hybrid role anchored in SF or NYC.

What you will do:

  • Own the experience. Every candidate touchpoint should feel intentional. You’ll drive coordination for high-signal loops, exec searches, and time-sensitive hires.

  • Lead the team. Recruit, coach, and grow a world-class RC team. Build a culture that moves fast and raises the bar.

  • Automate the grind. Bring an AI-first mindset to coordination. Eliminate busywork so your team can focus on high-leverage work.

  • Protect the panel. Design interview load-balancing systems that optimize fairness, protect capacity, and prevent burnout.

  • Set the standard. Build SLAs and playbooks that are repeatable, scalable, and 10x better than what most companies run on.

  • Turn metrics into motion. Transform coordination data into clear insights that unlock better decisions and faster cycles.

  • Work across the stack. Partner with Recruiting, IT, Finance, and others to make coordination seamless across the org.

  • Experiment with intent. Pilot bold ideas, iterate quickly, scale what works.

About you:

  • 5+ years in recruiting ops or coordination, with 1+ leading or managing high-performing teams

  • Led or been part of a high-performing coordination team at a hyper growth startup

  • Obsessed with candidate experience. You sweat the details and raise the bar every time.

  • Fluent in metrics: you build dashboards, set SLAs, and turn data into action

  • Sharp written comms—templates, prep docs, macros, async updates. You keep everyone aligned.

  • Builder mindset. You care about experience quality, not just task completion

  • Proactive and self-directed. You unblock yourself and manage up when needed

  • Strong people leader. You coach while still delivering personally

  • Confident partner to Eng, GTM, and execs. You keep things moving across functions

  • Greenhouse power user

Bonus if you:

  • Experience managing a contingent coordination workforce

  • Familiarity with Guide, GoodTime, or similar tools

  • Project management or recruiting operations background

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.

  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.

  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

  • Flexible Time Off.

  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
